“Sponge City Antalya Symposium” in collaboration with TMMOB Chamber of Landscape Architects Antalya Branch and Antalya Metropolitan Municipality.

The gradual depletion of water resources due to the climate crisis has become a problem for all cities and settlements. The "Sponge City Antalya Symposium" was held to facilitate the collection of rainwater, which ensures the resilience and sustainability of cities.

The Symposium took place on Friday (November 1, 2024) in cooperation with the TMMOB Chamber of Landscape Architects Antalya Branch and Antalya Metropolitan Municipality.

The symposium, which addressed topics such as sustainable landscape design and practices, nature-based solutions, and the efficient management and use of water, featured presentations from experts in the field. Representatives of professional chambers, municipal bureaucrats, and numerous guests attended the symposium. Opening remarks were delivered by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek and Gülsüm Kıldan, President of the Antalya Branch of the Chamber of Landscape Architects.
