Nursery growers from every city and town in Türkiye are visiting. Buyers are even coming from abroad. Producers from the Aegean Region, Ödemiş, Bayındır, Tire, Beydağ, Salihli, and Manisa provinces, districts, and villages are exhibiting their products.

A commercial fair organization says, "I'll hold a fair in Izmir." Sure, everyone is free to engage in commercial activities, but trying to bring the Ödemiş Exhibition to Izmir under the name "Landscape Izmir" is unnecessary and will cause problems for producers. Previous Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tunç Soyer also attempted this, but it failed. As far as we've learned, the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality has no connection to this fair.

The Ödemiş Exhibition started 20 years ago… 

The Ödemiş Exhibition is preparing for its 20th edition this year. It opens every year in late October or early November. Nursery growers from every city and town in Türkiye visit, and even buyers from abroad come. This is because producers from the Aegean Region, the provinces and villages of Ödemiş, Bayındır, Tire, Beydağ, Salihli, and Manisa are exhibiting their products. Consumers can find every variety of certified fruit saplings and ornamental plants they're looking for in this region. This is because it boasts the largest number of sapling growers, plant numbers, and varieties.

This profession, this sector, cannot handle the 4th show!

The International Landscape Istanbul Fair will be held at the Istanbul Fair Center from October 8-11, 2025. It is an international fair for landscape architecture and sectoral organizations. The PSB Anatolia Fair will also be held outdoors on the Sakarya-Sapanca-Kırkpınar Coast from September 10-13, 2025.

This profession, this sector, shouldn't be scattered across four fairs. The sector can't handle this kind of fair.

We've been producing and presenting a sectoral publication at Floraplus Magazine for 20 years. Producers should build on what they've already achieved. They shouldn't start from scratch.
