Italy Genoa-Eroflora show continues
At the Euroflora Fair, examples of innovative landscape design focused on sustainability and green tourism are being exhibited in 154 gardens designed by more than 400 producers.

Eroflora 2025 opened on April 24 and will continue until May 4. This 13th edition, supported by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH), is attracting international attention. The fair takes place at venues in Genoa's striking historical spot, where it meets the sea.

The opening speech of the fair, held at the Piazzale Kennedy-Arena Leccio of the redesigned Levante Waterfront, was made by Porto Antico di Genova Spa President Mauro Ferrando.

Also speaking were Maurizio Caviglia, Secretary General of the Genoa Chamber of Commerce, Alessandro Piana, Vice President of the Region and Member of the Agriculture and Horticulture Council, Pietro Piciocchi, Interim Mayor, Marco Bucci, President of the Liguria Region, and Leonardo Capitanio, President of the AIPH.

Stating that he is particularly proud to be at Euroflora, AIPH’s Italian President Leonardo Capitanio highlighted the success of the Italian sector and said, “Participation in such events is proof of how valuable Italian nursery owners are in the international arena.

“Today, Italy has a place of honor in the international arena of our sector, because the entire Italian nurserymen's union is a union without equal in the world,” he said.

Throughout the fair, which set out with the slogan "Nature makes room for itself," it is possible to see examples of innovative landscape design focused on sustainability and green tourism in 154 gardens designed by more than 400 producers.
