Israrlı çabalar ve pandemi sonucu bir süre için %8’e çekilen KDV daha sonra genel artışla birlikte %20’ çıkarıldı. Peyzaj ve süs bitkileri bitkisel ürün grupları içinde değerlendiriliyor. Fakat KDV’nin %20 olarak uygulandığı tek ürün grubu. Ülkemizdeki bütün üreticiler KDV’nin düşürülmesini istiyor. Giderek zorlaşan ekonomik şartlar herkesi kayıt dışı ilişkilere ve üretime yönlendiriyor.

The market situation and economic hardship are making access to credit and production difficult. Investing is no longer easy. Having previously explained this situation to officials numerous times, SÜSBİR management, along with a delegation from the Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry, brought this sector's problems to Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet ŞİMŞEK shortly before the general assembly. SÜSBİR Board Member Ahmet Dündar outlined the sector's problems and proposed solutions during the meeting, stating that analysis fees should be reduced due to the sector's export volumes and product diversity. The SÜSBİR management, appointed following the general assembly, should continue to pursue these issues.
