The Department of Parks, Gardens, and Green Spaces' "Horticulture Training Program" has been ongoing on both the Anatolian and European sides since last September. The program transforms Istanbulites' perception of green spaces and provides information and vocational training on urban green space practices.

The program continues this new term at the Büyükdere Atatürk Nursery Gardening School on the European side and at the 50th Year Grove Education Center on the Anatolian side. The program lasts nine weeks. Courses include outdoor and indoor plants, pruning techniques, and fruit and vegetable cultivation, and successful participants receive a Certificate of Participation at the end of the program.

The Gardening Training, carried out in collaboration with the Department of Parks, Gardens and Green Areas and İSMEK Institute Istanbul, is announced on the website yesil.istanbul, the official publication channel of the Department of Parks, Gardens and Green Areas.

As for your relationship with us... The more people living in a city are informed about greenery and the environment, the more it will benefit them. We hope to see similar training programs in all other cities.
