The Ankara Green City Action Plan (YŞEP) is a plan prepared by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) under the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Green Cities Program. The Ankara Green City Action Plan is based on the principle of developing actions specific to urban sectors to address the challenges of increasing the city's resilience, particularly those stemming from climate change. YŞEP evaluates projects and policy actions aimed at making changes in water, air quality, energy and waste infrastructure, transportation systems, finance, governance, buildings, and green spaces to improve the quality of the local environment and the city's resilience. Sector-specific actions were developed in conjunction with the vision and strategic objectives developed to address Ankara's environmental challenges.
