Just-in-time and on-site promotion<\/strong><\/p>\n

New Year's and New Year's celebrations always attract attention and are debated. Some object to notions that New Year's celebrations are a Turkish invention or that Santa Claus lives in Anatolia, claiming they are a "Christian invention." However, if everyone is looking for a reason, they should attribute it to themselves and enjoy the way they want. The Christmas tree placed at the intersection in \u00d6demi\u015f city center by the \u00d6demi\u015f Municipality and the SS \u00d6demi\u015f Nursery Ornamental Plants Production and Marketing Cooperative has attracted considerable attention. We congratulate those who have facilitated this timely plant promotion in a region where trees are grown. Furthermore, conifers, also known as Christmas trees, are grown in the plateaus around \u00d6demi\u015f, such as G\u00f6lc\u00fck, Su Batan, Bozda\u011f, and Yenik\u00f6y. It's also worth remembering that similar trees are also grown and exported in Bursa, Ordu, and Samsun.<\/p>\n

Christmas trees in the world\u2026 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Christmas tree is an important symbol for Christmas celebrations. If a cut spruce, fir, or pine is unavailable, an artificial tree is also used. Communities devoted to this tradition passionately celebrate this ceremonial event. For example, in England, the Norway spruce (Picea abies) was used as the traditional cut Christmas tree for many years. However, in recent years, the conical and softer Nordmandian fir (Abies nordmanniana) has become more popular.<\/p>\n

Which species are preferred?<\/strong><\/p>\n

So, which conifers are most preferred worldwide for New Year's (Christmas) celebrations? Western spruce, European spruce, and Norway spruce (Picea abies). Also among the most popular is the Eastern Black Sea Fir (Abies nordmanniana), which is very popular in England. Meanwhile, GDF sources underline that four species grow in our country: Abies bornm\u00fclleriana Mattf. (Uluda\u011f Fir), Abies equitrojani Aschers. et Sint. (Kazda\u011f\u0131 Fir), and Abies cilicica Carr. (Taurus Fir). Also among the most preferred are the blue spruce (Picea pungens hoopsii). Grafted European blue spruce...
