A trade event where the most innovative plant breeders in the potted plant industry showcase their new products. This year, FlowerTrials attracted over 5,000 visitors from over 80 countries to discover the latest plant innovations and exchange ideas with colleagues from around the world.<\/p>\n

56 breeders and growers exhibited their products at 27 indoor and outdoor locations geographically located in the Netherlands and Germany.<\/p>\n

Fleuroselect is the international organization for the ornamental plants industry and for over 50 years has been bringing new potted plants to market and evaluating them, promoting award-winning plants, preserving the varieties they have developed, strengthening their connections with each other and contributing to the development and progress of the industry.<\/p>\n

Fleuroselect partners include approximately 75 potted plant breeders, producers, and distributors, mostly from Europe, but also from Japan, the US, China, and Thailand.<\/p>\n

The organization is structured into production and distribution, landscape gardening, and plant protection segments, each of which meets specific needs within the industry.<\/p>\n

A board of elected members of Fleuroselect is supported by various expert committees.<\/p>\n

The organization's secretariat is located at its headquarters in Voorhout, Netherlands. The organization is financed by membership contributions, trial and new product protection fees, and royalties from endorsements of award-winning varieties. Activities include legal oversight of illegally propagated cuttings, market research and organization of seedling and cutting sales, and conferences.<\/p>\n
